Snap the Cat Likes Planner
Estimate payout from any photo session based on your current stats.
The likes planner is an interactive reference tool for estimating photo payouts in Snap the Cat. Enter your follower count, the cat’s rarity tier, and your equipped costumes to see an estimated payout range.
Important disclaimer: All calculations are based on community reverse-engineered approximations of the game’s internal formula. The exact algorithm has not been officially documented. These estimates are directional indicators, not guarantees.
How to use
- Enter your current follower count
- Select the rarity tier of the cat you are photographing
- Select any costume bonuses (leave at none if no costume equipped)
- Read the estimated payout range
The planner will show a low estimate, a mid estimate, and a high estimate based on variance in the hidden photo quality score.
How the estimates are calculated
The community has identified the following factors as significant contributors to likes earned:
Base multiplier — each cat rarity tier has a documented base multiplier. See the tier list for the full breakdown.
Follower multiplier — your follower count acts as a percentage multiplier on every payout. The exact formula is unknown but the community has established that the relationship is approximately linear at lower follower counts and may taper at extremely high counts.
Costume bonus — costume rarity adds a percentage on top of the base payout. Legendary costumes give approximately a 60% bonus.
Photo quality — the hidden photo quality score introduces variance. Well-centered shots in clean backgrounds tend to score higher. The community has documented tendencies but no precise formula.
Limitations
The planner cannot account for:
- Biome ambient bonuses (variable and not fully documented)
- Specific pose quality (impossible to estimate without seeing the photo)
- Skill tree nodes that affect specific sources (affects individual payouts, not averages)
Use the planner as a planning reference, not a precision tool.

Frequently asked
Why are the estimates a range and not a single number? The hidden photo quality score introduces variance that cannot be predicted. The range represents the community-observed minimum and maximum for a given configuration.
Can I trust this for major decisions? Use the planner for directional guidance only. Do not make large token investments based solely on planner estimates.
