This tier list is based on community consensus from hundreds of hours of playtesting. It ranks cats by their photography value — specifically how many likes a well-composed photo of that cat earns relative to a baseline.
Tier lists are inherently subjective. This guide tries to capture the community average rather than any single players experience. If a cat feels different to you, your mileage may vary depending on your skill tree nodes and the biomes you frequent.
Tier S — Legendary
These cats are the absolute best for earning likes. They have exceptional base multipliers and naturally adopt high-scoring poses. Most players will only encounter a handful of these.

Tier A — Ultra-Rare
Strong cats with high base multipliers and reliable pose quality. These are the backbone of a well-optimised late-game photography setup.

Tier B — Rare
Solid cats that earn good likes. Not as powerful as Tier S or A but significantly better than common cats. Worth investing costume slots into.

Tier C — Uncommon

Important caveats
The tier list measures photography value, not personal preference. Many players report that their favourite cats are in lower tiers. This is normal and does not mean those cats are bad — it simply means they are not optimal for maximising likes.
Cat poses can vary within the same cat. Not every session with a high-tier cat will produce a high-tier photo. The tier ranking reflects average output, not guaranteed output.
Costume bonuses stack on top of base tier multipliers. A Tier C cat in a legendary costume can outperform a Tier B cat in a common costume.

Do biome bonuses affect tier rankings? Biome-specific bonuses affect the final likes earned but do not change a cats base tier. A Tier A cat in its preferred biome earns more than a Tier A cat in a neutral biome.
